Founded in 2015, THE LIFE FOUNDATION was started by Armand "Q" Flowers, after learning his father was diagnosed with lung cancer from a random doctor screening. African American men are affected by lung cancer more than any other racial or ethnic group, and have higher death rates. The Life Foundation was formed in remembrance of those who have passed away from diseases such as cancer. These diseases are more easily treated if found early. One way to early detection is regular screenings. The Life Foundation was born as a plan to bring awareness to not just lung cancer, but preventative care!
